  • Thanks so much again for such an amazing conference! I learned a lot and met so many nice people. I really liked the small and close format – it allowed me to network with a lot of PIs which will hopefully open some career opportunities in the future!

2nd Animal Models of Cancer Conference

  • Fusion conferences are very special. With smaller numbers attending, it’s easier for students and postdocs to have the opportunity for meaningful interactions with speakers. For me, an added bonus is also connecting with fellow speakers which often leads to new collaborations. The science thrives in excellent locations, supported by the Fusion team’s care to ensure everything runs smoothly. Focussing on the science in a setting conducive for interactions really marks these conferences out as special.

Especially important in this young and developing field, this exchange fostered many new ideas for future research. I felt very honoured to win a "Short Talk“ to recognise my work and presentation and look forward to the next virus-EV conference!
