Donating antibodies to research and COVID-19 patient care.

Nuclear Receptor speaker Inez Rogatsky (Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College) is doing her part to help in the fight against COVID-19. Inez recovered from COVID-19 and has been donating her antibodies to research and to COVID-19 patient care. "I have been a pin cushion for 7 months now & going strong!" Last time we exchanged emails back in April, Inez was taking part in her very first 'bleed' at the Rockefeller for their antibody study. Since then, she has been through 4 large scale plasmapheresis sessions where they collect plasma for COVID-19 patients in ICU and pump cells back into donors. She has done these monthly plus a follow-up antibody study by the Rockefeller and a T-cell study at Weill Cornell. Inez remains positive for antibodies and continues to aid where she can, while still making sure she stays healthy. Amazing work Inez!
